So Bio Etic is a french brand specialising in organic cosmetics at reasonable prices.
This is the first and only BB cream I’ve tried so far, so I can’t say wether it qualifies as a BB cream or as a foundation. It does feel comfortable on the skin and has some medium coverage, which is good enough to start with.
What the brand promises :
- Unify : agree, the coverage is buildable.
- Moisture : quite agree
- Purify : couldn’t see any difference
- Protects : couldn’t judge
- SPF 10

Ingredients : a lot of natural and interesting ingredients. Not sure if it’s gluten-free tocopherol.
Coverage : This is medium coverage. You don’t need a lot of product to cover your face.
Texture : It is a creamy texture and you will have to be carefull to use products that don’t make the product peel off. Aloe vera based products made a complete mess. I have a dry skin, so I need to use a good layer of face cream underneath this bbcream. I tried applying it with fingers, with a foundation brush and with a sponge. My favourite is a brush and then blending off with fingers.
Shade : Now, this is the lightest shade, and it was way too yellow for my skin (pale with yellow undertone). You can see there was a lot of skin activity on that day, but the coverage is better from what I expected from a BBcream.
Skin reaction : My very sensitive skin didn’t show any signs of allergy, nor additionnal bumps.
Longevity : Sadly, this is not a long-lasting product. After 3 hours, the forehead shines and the cheeks are bare again
Final thoughts : This is a made in France, which is always a plus for me. I love the packaging, it’s small enough to fit in a week-end make-up bag. Main issue is probably the colours : there are only 3 shades available, and the lightest is way too dark for me (and I’m not incredibly pale), and there are no shades for darker skintones.
Price: 11,85€ for 30ml.
